Islamic Teachers Training College (ITTC) is registered and accredited by the Ministry of Education to offer Diploma in Teacher Education Programmes. The training is based in Competency Based Teacher Education Curriculum developed by the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD). Examination and Certification is done by the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC). The Institution specializes in the following Teacher Education Programmes:

• Diploma in Primary Teacher Education (DPTE) – duration 3 years
• Diploma in Early Childhood Teacher Education (DECTE) – duration 3 years
• Upgrading Diploma in  Primary Teacher Education (UDPTE) – duration 1 year
• Upgrading Diploma in  Early Childhood Teacher Education (UDECTE) – duration 1 year

The college has employed qualified and highly skilled academic staff with long standing experience in training and mentoring primary and Early Childhood teachers. The college is situated in the sprawling Mikindani area of Jomvu Sub-County, Mombasa. It is a home experience away from home for all our clients. The college is professionally managed by qualified Principal who reports to a Board of Directors. The college admits students from all backgrounds all over Kenya as long as they meet basic requirements for Teacher Education set by the Ministry of Education.
